Jack Herer is one of Spanish growers’ preferred genetics, and is named after an eminent figure in the world of marijuana plants.  Afrodite inherited her great aroma, flavour and sativa effects from Jack Herer, and robustness and a great yield from her other parent. The result? A legendary plant.

As we’ve mentioned, Afrodite is a very great variety to grow.  Whether you do so indoors or outdoors or indoors, it will reward you with great results.

It’s a tall strain that will grow upwards indoors looking for the light, but its height could reduce slightly during the flowering phase due to the weight of leafy branches laden with buds. Indoors you can expect an average yield of 9 – 11 plants per square metre. Its flowering period has been shortened compared to its award-winning predecessor, Jack Herer, providing a feminised seed with a cycle of 58-62 days.

Outdoors we’ll have to wait until the end of September or even the start of October to see what’s so promising about the name of this amazing beauty that we can now prune. In addition to reaching a height of about 2 metres, this plant occupies space widthways. In order for us to obtain the maximum production possible, it’s important to carry out apical pruning, transforming it into a sturdy bush that will always point skywards and is populated with dense, sticky, resinous flowers from top to bottom.

Taste and effect of Afrodite

Now, pay attention: we’re going to tell you what’s best about this strain. If we were to choose what we like most about this gorgeous girl, it would be difficult for us to pick just one thing but we know what it would be. We could opt for its colours, how they blend together and leave us on cloud nine even before we’ve even tried it. We could mention the flavour that encompasses an entire menu in one, starting with a very spicy and earthy flavour and ending by offering you an extremely sweet dessert to finish. We could even mention its intense smell that makes you fly when the first signs of it appear in the air.

But we want to mention its effect. The worthy heir of Jack Herer couldn’t be anything other than a great sativa-dominant hybrid. It provides a THC level of 22% and less than 0.5% CBD, but leaves a tremendous and incredibly relaxing effect on the body.
